Ligue 1: Simon Scores In Nantes’ Defeat At Metz

Moses Simon was on target but ended up on the losing side as Nantes fell to a 3-1 defeat against Metz at the Stade Saint-Symphorien on Sunday afternoon.


Metz took the lead on three minutes through Kevin Van Den Kerkhof.


Simon equalised for Nantes in the 12th minute after he was teed up by Nicolas Pallois.

The 27-year-old has now scored three goals and provided four assists in 12 league appearances for the Canaries this season.


Only Kylian Mbappe (14) has been been involved in more goals in the French top-flight this season.


Simon Elisor and Joel Asoro scored the other goals for Metz.
