Bandits have killed the only teacher in Unguwan Dorowa Bakhira settlement in Maro community of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The bandits also killed a couple during the attack on the community, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
The primary school teacher, identified as Mr Sunday Akor, is an indigene of Benue State.
According to a community leader, Maigari Ben, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, nobody was kidnapped during the attack.
He explained, “They killed a man and his wife and a primary school teacher, Mr Sunday Akor, who was a native of Benue State. He was the only classroom teacher in the primary school in this village. No one was kidnapped.”
ASP Mansir Hassan, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, could not be reached at the time of this report.
