John Terry, a former Chelsea defender, is getting close to accepting his first managerial role after his retirement.
Terry retired from playing professional football in 2018, and the 42-year-old has now reached an agreement to manage Al Shabab of the Saudi Pro League, The Daily Mail reports.
The former Chelsea defender has held senior coaching positions before but will be operating in the capacity of a manager at Al Shabab.
The Englishman was reportedly approached a month ago and presented with a two-year offer, which he has already accepted.
The deal is still in progress, but there is reason to anticipate an official announcement soon.
