Napoli head coach, Rudi Garcia has claimed he scolded Victor Osimhen in the club’s 3-1 victory against Frosinone on Saturday night.
Osimhen propelled the Serie A champions to victory at the Stadio Benito Stirpe by netting twice in the game.
The 24-year-old scored a stunning second for the Partenopei three minutes before the break.
The Nigeria international added the third 11 minutes from time.
Despite the forward’s contribution, Garcia revealed he reproached Osimhen during the half-time break.
“Offensively, he was excellent, he scored two goals and there is nothing I can tell him,” Garcia told DAZN.
“Defensively, I didn’t like him at all and I told him during the break. He used to press more and defend better in the past. We changed this thing in the second half and we played with more quality.”
